Cultivating a metta attitude of acceptance and welcoming of all phenomena; easing our habitual dukkha responses, increasing ease and wellbeing here and now.
Looking deeply into our make up; biological, psychological, cultural, and seeing how appropriate attention (Yoniso Manasikara) can be skilfully applied to our habits and tendencies (negativity bias, etc.) for freedom from dukkha.
Perception isn't perfectly reliable, but even if we can't know what is objectively true, we can shape what is relatively useful. Not for escape, but to be more intimate.
As fabrications quieten perceptions fade!
The hindrances; obscurations of wellbeing and clarity are dukkha.
Dukkha and distress can be directly diminished by attuning to the feeling AKA vedana.
